Georgia licensure

Georgia is a member of the Nurse Licensure Compact. If you hold a multistate license issued by another compact state and your primary residence is there, you can practice in Georgia without applying for a separate license, which removes the single largest delay in getting started.

If you are moving your residency to Georgia, you will need to apply for a Georgia multistate license through the Georgia Board of Nursing, and you cannot hold multistate licenses in two states at once.
